G.O.A.L of Greasby

G.O.A.L of Greasby have now teamed up with Streetcage Sports to deliver Soccer schools for its third successive year in Coronation Park in Greasby. The past two summers have been extremely busy with coaches working as many as 30 youths throughout each night of the summer.

Streetcage Sports will work closely with G.O.A.L to deliver a 5 – week project over the summer holidays running on Thursday, Friday & Saturday night, when many youths in the area are left with very few activities to participate in and can often get involved in the wrong crowd.

Streetcage Sports will provide a qualified coach in the area and places will be open to the first 20 youths from the area that sign up for the 2-hour sessions. Streetcage Sports all also in talks with G.O.A.L to provide an Autumn/winter programme that will run on Friday and Saturday nights between 8 – 10pm for 52 weeks a year.

Ron Green from G.O.A.L and the North Wirral Crime Prevention Panel said “Streetcage Sports offer an excellent alternative to youths being involved in anti-social behaviour in the park. We are delighted that we are now in our third year and as a result are looking to deliver a winter evening project”
