Fairbridge, The North West, Liverpool
These young people often face a range of problems and may have been excluded from school, endured long-term unemployment, faced homelessness or become involved in criminal activity. Many are without the support of their family or members of their community.
Through a combination of long- term personal support & challenging activities, we provide young people with a route back into main stream education. Youth unemployment, juvenile crime, drug addiction, homelessness: the problems that face young people end up facing us all. So by supporting individuals, Fairbridge is also creating a more positive environment for everyone who lives in the communities where we are based Streetcage Sports Schools & Fairbridge have created a partnership, which will see qualified coaching staff deliver coaching sessions & small- sided tournaments to youths aged 13 – 24 years of age. Streetcage Sports staff, will also be given the opportunity to work with young people who wish to become qualified coaching staff by completing Sports courses through the Liverpool County F.A.
Streetcage Sports’s Dave McDermott said “ We are delighted to be given the chance to work with Fairbridge, we have been very impressed by their professional approach to working with young people. We really hope that this is the start of a new working relationship in sites across The North West”. For more information on Fairbridge, please check out their web site at www.Fairbridge.org.uk
