KEEP A LOOK OUT!

Through Streetcage Sports’s extensive research into young people and the excellent relationship we have developed with A number of organisations across the North West service and representatives of the F.A, we have developed a Street football based education programme that mixes “Free –style” football as well as life skills education to improve the lives of young people aged 8 – 24 Years of age. Our programme, will see Streetcage Sports working in as many as 40 sites across The North West two nights per week as well as school holidays, when anti-social behaviour and Police call outs are at their worst.

Our programmes and activities not only help to develop tricks and free style skills in youths aged 8 – 24 Years of age, but also motivate, raise self-esteem and help to develop character development in young people across The North West. Through our new player/coach education programme, we aim to reduce anti-social behaviour, develop citizenship, improve team- work and give hope to so many youngsters.

Streetcage Sports feels that ‘Exit routes’ are just as important as ‘Education’ within their plans and so we work closely with a number of organisations that can offer ‘Professional advice’ on what opportunities are available to them across The North West. Streetcage Sports works closely with advisors in Connexion offices across The North West to offer support by making literature available and also having connexions workers attend sessions to speak to young people about their plans.

In the past we have been able to sign post many young males & females to connexions who have been able to provide information on education courses, colleges in the area, employment and apprenterships & youth schemes.

Having this type of ‘Professional service’ available is key to the success of Streetcage Sports and also the future of so many young people across The North West.
