Aims & ObjectivesStreet Cage Soccer aims to take control of as many cages as possible over the foreseeable future and work together in partnership with organisations and corporate sponsors to improve opportunities and lifestyles for young children and teenagers. These projects will help to develop community relations, reduce crime levels such vandalism, drug abuse and alcohol relates problems. We aim to improve relations between youths and local law enforcement officers who fund and support projects. |
As well as working on Anti-social behaviour projects, Streetcage Soccer & multi-sports is also working closely with NHS and PCT’s across the North West to deliver health related projects in areas of social deprivation. Streetcage Soccer & multi-sports uses the medium of sport to deliver messages around Healthy eating, Physical activity, tackling Obesity, Sexual health and Oral hygiene
We aim to provide every youngster in the area with a t-shirt displaying the Street Cage logo and partnerships who support projects. This helps youngsters feel part of a team helping them work together. Our inter-cage tournaments with give youngsters the opportunity to represent the cage team and play against cages from others areas in fun and friendly atmosphere.
