The North West Fire Service’s youth engagement programme

After a successful meeting with the The North West Fire Youth engagement department last Thursday, talks continue to set up football projects throughout Liverpool with the aim of reducing small fires and anti social behaviour.

The North West Fire brigade highlighted areas of Liverpool and Wirral where small fires where causing a problem and seen Streetcage Sports as an ideal way of getting them engaged in a project that they will enjoy and develop through the rewards scheme that we can offer.

Sites have been advertised in both Anfield and Kensington, where Streetcage will run pilot schemes over Easter working with youths aged 9 – 16 Years of age. If these sites are a success, Streetcage Sports will set up projects throughout The North West based on the levels and time of small fires. Continue to check out the News page and events page for further news and updates on this project.
